Armed Police last Saturday raided the home of one of the Northern Region’s biggest artistes Fancy Gadam born Mujahid Ahmed Bello over the physical assault on a journalist.
It is gathered that the Police were on a hunt for the younger brother of the musician Masib Bello who physically attacked one Halik Musah alias DJ Tell of Tamale-based Radio Tamale for criticizing and beefing the musician.
DJ Tell and Fancy Gadam for some time now have been beefing each other leading to verbal exchanges on various radio stations in the last couple of weeks.
What is reported to have escalated the matter was the Radio Presenter seeking to draw the mother of the musician into the fray which angered Masib Bello leading to the attack.
Ashantibiz.com gathered that an official complaint was lodged with the Police who moved in to arrest the suspect but he fled before they could arrive.
