Owners of Joy Industries have expressed its disappointment in Ghanaian celebrities who are always unwilling to fulfill their part of the bargain to the latter.
The organization through one of its Chief Executive Officers(CEOs) believe that celebrities in Ghana are ungrateful and selfish reason it has taken a lot of cues from its dealings with them.
In a video which has gone viral on social media, the Chief Executive looked worried by the act of ungratefulness.
He said the organization during the good times supported several artistes and celebrities in the country, however, these same people have refused to support their brands in these times when every entity is struggling.
“We have helped celebrities when they were in crisis. But none of them has decided to help us push any of our brands. When celebrities were struggling, we used them for shows in order for them to get money.
Now when you introduce your brand and you ask them to post on their social media, they will ask for a contract. Now that economies world over are struggling, they do not agree to support us also.
We customized a Tundra and paid Daddy Lumba but he never performed at half of the shows we earmarked for him. Tell him to bring our customized Tundra back,” he said.
