The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has opened a police station for the residents of Dansoman SSNIT flats.

The police station was constructed as part of efforts by the Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly to help the residents to combat crime and provide them with security.

The Ablekuma West MP stressed that increasing security at the local level will expand and improve the country’s fight against insecurity.

The MP noted: “Security within the country must be enhanced and improved, hence if you have people bringing security or the police service to the doorstep of the people, it’s an important milestone that we have to celebrate.”

The MP called on residents to cooperate with the Police to combat crime in the area.
