What would have been described as a simple farewell, turned emotional on thursday morning at Bantama Church of Pentecost in Kumasi.
Mourners couldn’t control their emotions as they listen to tributes from loved ones.
Elder Adu Ahenkorah described his late wife as his real soulmate and someone he would love to marry again if given another chance.
Reading his tribute, he said…”I married Edith in 2010 after she had completed her computer training course. We have been living happily for the past eleven years until last June when the tragic incident happened. God has blessed us with three beautiful children. My wife was fond of home as she would always play with our children. Those I have had premarital counseling session with, can bear me witness that, I always share my beautiful marital home experience with them. Edith never in her lifetime complained about the tight schedules of my work as an elder and a secretary of a local branch. She really defined my course positively as a husband”, he noted.
The children on the other hand described their late mom as their best friend who always guide them do their homework.
The church described late Mrs. Edith Adu Ahenkorah as a pillar in their Sunday School unit. They said it would take them some time to get someone fill her capacity as a passionate Sunday School Teacher.
Late Mrs Edith Adu Ahenkorah passed on at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in June this year after a short illness.
She was 31yrs
