Chief Executive Officer for the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Justin Koduah Frimpong has broken his silence on his political future in the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In recent times, social media has been awash with posters of him aspiring to contest the party’s General Secretary position in the political party.

Justin Koduah has been tipped to unseat John Boadu who has said that he had two more terms before he retires from the position.

Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Citi TV, Justin Koduah Frimpong said “what I know is that the party has processes that lead to congress being organized and as I sit here with you the party is yet to come out with the timetable for when one can start campaigning for a position so all the things that you’ve heard we are not there yet…”

When asked if people are approaching him to contest for the General Secretary position he said ” it’s something that is going on and I see it from the positive point that at least there is something that I’m doing that the young men and women in the party and also the elders in the party feel happy about and they feel that maybe when the time comes and I’m able to come to work in the party it’s something that can bring positive results for us to win in 2024 so it’s something that I’m also considering very seriously but I like I indicated to you, we are not there yet so at the end of the day, I cannot sit here and say yes I’m going to do this, I’m going to do that when the party opens the nomination definitely you’ll be the first to know”.
