The Anglican Church has announced plans to introduce an Insurance Company in 2022.

An eight-member delegation of Bishops revealed this plan when they paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.

The Insurance Company would be called Spirit Insurance Company.

The Bishops told the Asante Monarch that the need for such initiatives was realised during the initial outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

“We have registered a business unit called Anglican Investment Company Limited, we can now transact businesses and earn profits and create employment for our youth so that we are able to sustain the youth in the church,” the Bishops stated.
