Presidential Advisor on the Economy and Former Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, the late Dr Anthony Akoto Osei will be buried on Saturday, April 15.

The burial mass will be held at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Castle Road.

Filing past and viewing will start from 7 am to 8:45 am, followed by a private burial.

The former legislator died on Monday, March 20, while on admission at the University of Ghana Medical Centre in Accra.

Dr Akoto Osei served as Minister of Monitoring and Evaluation in President Akufo-Addo’s first term from 2017 to 2021.

He served as a Member of Parliament for Tafo Pankrono from January 2005 to January 2021.

The politician and banker first served as a deputy minister of finance in President John Agyekum Kufuor’s government and later a Minister of State for Finance and Economic Planning.
