The Chief who has been fingered in the murder of the nurse at Mankessim has been arrested in a village where he was reportedly hiding.
Sources reveal that the suspect who had gone into hiding was spotted in a remote village where his girlfriend resided since the news of the unfortunate incident broke out.
Sources from the Central Regional Police Command indicate that the chief was spotted by some residents in the village when he came out of a room to urinate.
Police investigators were immediately informed about his presence leading to the arrest of Nana Clarke, Tufohen of Ekumfi-Akwankrom and President for the Mankessim Traders Association.
“He was arrested on Wednesday after and has since been taken into custody and would soon be arraigned before court. We have arrested two suspects including Nana Clarke and they are all in Cape Coast. Trust the police to do its work and be reminded that crime combat is not one person’s job”, Chief Superintendent David Jabaah revealed.

The deceased was buried at a residential apartment and as a result, one Pastor was arrested but the Chief who owned the property went into hiding until his arrest on Wednesday afternoon.
