Two prominent leaders in Asanteman, Nkosuohene Nana Osei Kwame Kyeretwie and Zongo Nkosuohene Alhaji Abdullai Ali Barry, have generously gifted the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, with a magnificent white horse in honor of his 25th Enstoolment Anniversary.
The presentation took place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, during the “Ahoho Da” ceremony, a significant event commemorating the King’s milestone anniversary. The horse, adorned with the flag of Asanteman, was sourced from Burkina Faso, as announced by Nana Osei Kwame Kyeretwie during the ceremony.
Nana Osei Kwame Kyeretwie expressed admiration for the King’s dedication to promoting peace, noting the positive impact it has had on fostering unity within the Zongo Community. This commitment to peace has not only strengthened relationships within the community since the passing of the Sarkin Zango but has also facilitated the smooth transition for the installation of his successor.
