The death is reported of Presidential Advisor on the Economy and former MP for Old Tafo, in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Anthony Osei Akoto.
He was a Minister of Monitoring and Evaluation in President Akufo-Addo’s first term 2017 to 2021.
Dr. Osei Akoto, also served as a Minister of State for Finance and Economic Planning from 2007 to 2009 and also a Deputy Minister of Finance from 2003 to 2007, during President John Agyekum Kufuor’s administration.
