Face behind Consta Naturals revealed

One of the fastest growing local manufacturing companies in the Kumasi metropolis is the Gorgeous Consta Enterprise.

The company has remained resolute in its quality products for the skin and hair over the years.

It has remained competitive to foreign products imported into the country and currently rocking shoulders on the global market with major competitive products.

Madam Constance Manu (Bonsu), the CEO, shares some memorable thoughts with Ashantibiz.

According to her, she started her journey with Kapital Radio, a Kumasi based private radio station in the latter part of the 90s on the ‘M’adwuma Yi Programme’.

“I was into entrepreneurship at the time and was into batik and tie and dye. Even though I was working, I was also doing food processing and cosmetics. I learnt a lot about cosmetics even though the people who had knowledge at the time were not up to date but for the help I got it was doing wonders and I was able to make some sales in Kumasi and other places”.

“At that time I had registered the Company as Contance Manu Enterprise and I was also training people for the Ministry of Manpower on the Presidential Special Initiative (PSI) alongside running my own vocational school until I went back to the University in 2006. Even as a lecturer I was still doing my cosmetics. I had the opportunity to learn about Ayurvedic Cosmetic Formulation in California. I enrolled in the Academy of Ayurvedic Cosmetic Formulation in California and came out successfully as a Certified Ayurverdic Cosmetic Formulator”.

“Prior to that I was doing my shea butter value addition with essential oil etc. I also did an online courses to gain more knowledge in my field. Due to my chemistry background, our product lines are solutions. We don’t just produce because we want to produce. Every product we’ve produced on the market are solutions”, she said.
