Former President John Dramani Mahama denounced the media on Saturday that he was Ghana’s fourth richest man with a net worth of around $900 million.
A statement by Ms. Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Advisor to former President Mahama, reported that the former President’s office: “I would like to state categorically that the posts are entirely false and unfounded.”
The statement said that Mr. Mahama viewed the assignment as a further attempt to discredit his reputation, stir up trouble against him and undermine his leadership in matters of selfless service. “We urge the people of Ghana to ignore this false claim and all similar messages going forward.” “Instead, we encourage the public to focus on holding the unprofitable management of nuclear power plants accountable for economic mismanagement and wasted government resources.”
As stated in the statement, former President Mahama continued to conduct an thematic campaign, to save the country from the current government.
