A cross-section of Ghanaians on social media have reacted positively to Wednesday’s #FixTheCountry protest, with some describing it as a show of commitment to inclusive governance.
Some say the protest will inure to the development of the country going forward.
The crusaders protested piling pressure on government to address what they describe as numerous challenges, including youth unemployment, poor infrastructure, and high cost of living.
MP for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto in a Facebook post praised the resilience & determination of the young activists leading the #FixTheCountry crusade.
He hoped the long-awaited march will in the end yield positive results leading to commitment to a new inclusive development paradigm.
Meanwhile, the Acting Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has expressed gratitude to Officers deployed for the fix the country demonstration for their dedication to work in maintaining law and order.
