The Ministry of Roads and Highways has re-awarded the contract of Peki-Have stretch of the eastern corridor road to construction firm, First Sky Limited as part of moves to fix deplorable portions of the road in the Volta Region.
Government has so far allotted the entire eastern corridor road project to 10 different contractors in a new contract agreement for a speedy completion of the project.
President Akufo-Addo disclosed this at Anfoega in the North Dayi District of the Volta Region where he addressed the Chiefs and people of the area as part of his one day working visit of the Volta Region.
The slow pace of construction of the eastern corridor road has been a major concern to most people in the Volta Region.
