Reports are rife that the tickets for Hearts of Oak’s clash with Asante Kotoko have sold out just one hour after they went on sale.
Following the Covid-19 protocols, it is believed that 10,000 tickets, which is 25% of the Accra Sports Stadium capacity, have been made available to the general public.
And according to reports, tickets have been sold out at designated outlets.
Photos of fans in long queues just to buy tickets have gone viral on social media.
According to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), tickets will not be sold at the stadium gates on Sunday, meaning fans who are unable to get tickets will have to watch the game at home.
With the two arch-rivals tied on points and four matches to end the season, Sunday’s meeting could determine which club wins this season’s Ghana Premier League title.
