Dr George Akuffo Dampare, Acting Inspector-General of Police (Ag. IGP), has visited Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s family to sympathize with them over the demise of his mother, Hajia Mariama Bawumia.
A news brief from the Police said Dr Dampare was accompanied by members of the Police Management Board (POMAB).
They include; Commissioner of Police (COP) Mr Christian Tetteh Yohuno, Director-General (D-G), Administration; COP/Mr Patrick Atampugre Akolgo, D-G National Protection Department (NAPD); COP Mr Redeemer Vincent Dedjoe, D-G Special Duties; COP Mr Frederick Adu Anim, D-G Human Resource Department (HRD); Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Mr Francis Aboagye Nyarko, D-G Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD); DCOP Mr Mohammed Fuseini Suraj, D-G Operations and DCOP (Mrs) Habiba Y. A. Twumasi-Sarpong, D-G Welfare.
Others were; Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mr Kwesi Ofori, D-G Public Affairs Directorate; ACP (Mrs) Faustina A. K. Andoh-Kwofie, D-G Police Intelligence Department; Chief Superintendent Mr. Alex K. Safo-Adu, Chief Staff Officer and DCOP Mr Wilfred Boahen Frimpong, Director Legal and Prosecutions.
