Professional Background:
Since April 2001, Madam Victoria Owusu, now known as Nana Amonu Gyamfua Serwaa Bonsu l, has served as the General Manager of Adansi Communications Network Ltd., which operates SHAFT FM 98.1. In this capacity, she has overseen the station’s activities, ensured profitable management, and acted as a crucial liaison between the Executive Board and the staff. She has also been instrumental in the relocation and construction of the station, regularly reporting to the Board of Directors through both written and verbal communications, while maintaining the station’s promotional strategies to enhance its public image.
Prior to her tenure at SHAFT FM, from January 2000 to April 2001, she was the General Manager of Starcom Broadcasting Services, which launched Spirit 88.3 FM. Her role involved managing department managers to optimize station operations, overseeing the establishment of the radio station, and focusing on profit maximization through strategic staffing.
Nana Amonu’s media career commenced in July 1997 at Imperial Broadcasting Company (Kapital 97.1) in Kumasi, where she was the Administrative and Traffic Manager. Her responsibilities included scheduling advertisements and supervising various operational staff. Before that, she contributed as the Assistant Project Coordinator at the same company, where she played a vital role in the setup of Kapital Radio.
Nana Amonu also held notable positions outside the media sector, including Managing Director at Fashion Mania Nigeria Limited and Public Relations Officer at Clemdee Chemicals Nigerian Ltd, where her efforts secured contracts with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Education:
Her academic journey includes a Bachelor of Education (Hons) in English and Education from the University of Ibadan, complemented by her Nigeria Certificate of Education, and foundational qualifications from St. Louis Secondary School in Kumasi, Ghana.

Nana Amonu possesses advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and specialized broadcast software such as Audio Vault. Furthermore, her leadership extends into various community and educational initiatives, as she holds positions on several boards, including the Akrofuom Area Rural Bank and Blessed Height Educational Institute.
