The Chief executive officer (CEO) Daniel McKorley of the McDan Group of companies has disclosed that he has awarded actor George Quaye a whopping $2 million dollars contract.
McDan made this revelation during the McDan Youth Connect program which was held in KUNST in Kumasi. McDan encouraged the youth present at his event to yearn for greatness and learn to grow by taking bold steps in life.
Using George Quaye as a case study, McDan stated that the actor has grown in their field of endeavors. He emphasized that the actor has spread his wings as he grows in his career.
“I’m here with Aboagye. Aboagye you saw in ‘Taxi Driver’ just won a contract from me – about two million dollars. You saw him in ‘Taxi Driver’ like he was joking [in ‘Taxi Driver] but Aboagye had a purpose. Today, he is sitting here in a suit. Everybody has something special in him,” he noted.
Although McDan did not specify the kind of contract he award George with, reports say that George Quaye’s ImageBureau was the power behind the recently held Asafotufiam Concert in Ada, which was financed by McDan.
