According to a family source who corroborated the tale in an interview, the body has now been deposited at the Goaso Government Hospital mortuary, and the devastated family is preparing to conduct a press conference on the matter.
“In reality, the immediate royal family is currently in shock and anguish. Nobody is allowed to speak to the media or share specifics about him since he was a chief,” the source said, after Ashantibiz promised to protect his privacy and secrecy.
Meanwhile, Ashantibiz discovered that the purported murder of the late divisional head had spread like wildfire and had become the talk of the town.
Attempts to reach the Ahafo Regional Police Commander were futile, but a police source at the Regional Police Command corroborated the report and stated that investigations were ongoing.
