A middle-aged man’s untimely death has brought grief to the sleepy community of Ejisu in the Ashanti Region. While tirelessly at work in the village of Tikrom, his unexpected collapse shocked the locals and sparked concerns and an investigation.
The dead, according to sources, died on Thursday, August 24, 2023, in the early hours after falling to the ground on one of the main streets in the neighbourhood.
The unidentified deceased reportedly travelled from Ejisu-Kwame to work as a plastic bucket repairer in the area.
“He came here this morning with his tools to repair some plastic buckets, after parking his tools, he went to one of the houses to get fire for his work”.
“He fell down heavily on the ground and started shaking but he stopped after a few minutes”, a nurse told newsmen.
According to the locals, the victim was left on the ground for a number of hours while the police picked up the body for further investigation.
However, at the time this report was being filled out, the body was wrapped in black polythene and was ready to be collected.
