Turkey’s earthquake happened several miles away from Ghana but it deeply struck Ghanaians in the heart. Christian Atsu, popularly known as Ghana’s Messi was found dead on Saturday under the rubble of his home in Turkey, almost two weeks after that devastating earthquake.
Ahead of the sad news, Estate developer and philanthropist, Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Freedom Jacob Caesar traveled to Turkey to lend a hand and also throw his weight behind the rescue team in search of the former Black stars player.
In a Twitter post by the Mayor of Hatay Province of Turkey, Lütfü Savas, he commended the kind gesture of the “Africa Prince”.
“It gives us hope to see support from all over the world with us. I would like to thank African Prince Freedom Jacob Caesar for his contributions to our city after the earthquake disaster we experienced”, concludes the Tweet.
The Tweet was accompanied by a picture of the self-acclaimed “African Prince” in a warm handshake with the Mayor.
The “African Prince” was spotted in a dress akin to Prince Akeem’s outfit in the movie, “Coming to America”.
