The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has demanded that Ministers who were found wanting in the COVID-19 Audit report should be sacked.
The party is of the belief that the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will do the country good if he takes the bold decision of sacking these Ministers who have brought his name to disrepute.
Apart from the Ministers, the NDC is of the view that Chief Executive Officers and other managers of state agencies who were involved in the misappropriation of COVID-19 funds should be shown the exit.
Apart from their sack, the NDC is of the view that they need to be made to face the law for being wicked to a developing country and capitalizing on the COVID-19 virus to accumulate wealth for themselves at the expense of the struggling citizens.
“Sack Minister of Finance, Health, and Information, CEO of Food Buffer Stock company and all officials who were involved in stealing public funds,” Sammy Gyamfi said at a press conference.
