Old NPP executives given a week ultimatum to return party property

  • Post category:Politics

Immediate past executives of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) keeping assets of the political party have been given a one-week ultimatum to hand over all assets to the party.

In a memo sighted by Ashantibiz, the party’s General Secretary Justin Koduah Frimpong indicated that new executives across the country have been handicapped since assuming power.

He said their work has been ineffective because the logistics to aid them in their work are not available and are in the possession of old executives.

Justin Koduah Frimpong could not fathom why the old executives will continue to keep the assets including vehicles and other items that help in the administration of the party at all levels when they are aware they were not given to them to assume ownership.

Regional Executives together with the party’s Treasurer have been asked to supervise the retrieval of all party assets in order to help the party function well and work towards maintaining power in 2024.
