Presidency responds to claims on Presidential travels

The Presidency has responded to claims by Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa about the type of aircraft used by President Akufo-Addo in recent travels outside the country.

Mr. Okudzeto has waged a campaign on the cost of Foreign travels by President Akufo-Addo, calling for a national policy on Presidential travels.

But speaking for the first time on the issue, Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin said the type of jet alleged to have been used by the President is a complete fabrication.

On the Ejura shooting incident, Mr. Arhin confirmed the report has been received by the President and will soon be acted upon.
