In a heartfelt initiative, Rand Medical Imaging and Health Systems extended its free breast screening exercise to the traders of Kaneshie Market on October 16, 2024. Led by Dr. Rosemond Aboagye, the program provided not only free breast screenings but also essential services such as sugar level and blood pressure checks, along with vital medical counseling. This event, which ran from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, catered to over a hundred market women, showcasing the unwavering commitment of Dr. Aboagye and her dedicated team to the health and well-being of mothers in the community.
The screenings, part of a broader outreach effort by Rand Medical Imaging, had earlier begun at Galelia Market, followed by the Makola Shopping Mall, and continued to Madina Market, Dominase Onion Market, thus marking the 31st market in Accra before concluding at Kaneshie Market (Arena). This initiative not only highlights the importance of preventive health measures but also exemplifies the compassion and dedication of medical professionals in reaching underserved areas.
In an inspiring display of solidarity, the executives of Kaneshie Market expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Aboagye and her team for their selfless service. They recognized the significance of the free breast screenings and presented food items, toiletries, clothing, and bowls to support the team’s charitable efforts for orphanages. Dr. Aboagye expressed her immense appreciation for their contributions and prayed for future screenings at Kaneshie Market to reach even greater heights.
Additionally, as part of their annual tradition, Dr. Aboagye and her team commenced their October donations at “Royal Seed Orphanage” in Kwao Bondzie in the Awutu Senya West and concluded at “What A Friend We Have In Jesus Orphanage” off the Nyanyano Road in Kasoa. Through these noble efforts, Rand Medical Imaging and Health Systems continues to foster a culture of care and community support, ensuring that health and hope flourish in every corner they serve.
