Chief Priest Nuumo Yemi VII of the La Traditional Council has joined protesters on the street of Accra to register their displeasure at government’s sale of SSNIT Hotels to Rock City owned by Bryan Acheampong.

In videos available on social media, Chief Priest Nuumo Yemi VII of the La Traditional Council who was pouring libation before the protest started said they are now fed up with what’s happening in the country.

He, trying to prove he’s tired of the system shattered the Schnapp Bottle During Libation at the ‘Hands Off Our Hotels’ Demonstration.

Several Groups have joined the North Tongu Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who exposed government’s bid to sell SNNIT Hotels to a politician.

To Ablakwa, these state hotels have been poorly managed to create a perception that will make selling okay.

He has since petitioned CHRAJ to investigate the tender process and also the issue of Conflict of Interest.
